Standards

This web site has been developed in accordance with international accessibility standards as recommended by the WC3 so as to make the website accesible to everyone.

The contents of these pages have been developed so as to be accesible to people with visual disabilities, hearing impediments, motor disabilities, cognitive, and speech disabilities . These groups use specific hardware and software in order to be able to navigate on Internet and the coding of our contents attempts to allow this navigation.

International Regulations.

  • The pages on this Website have been validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
  • The visual presentation of the pages is cascading style sheets, CSS, which have been validated with the CSS level 2 specification.
  • All the pages have been tagged in order for their structure to be adequately transmitted.

Accessible Content

  • To ensure that the accessibility guidelines have been correctly followed, various tests have been carried out during the development process.
  • Visual inspection of the web site using different navigators(Microsoft Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, Safari..) and different operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Mac-Os, Linux…)
  • Navigation of the web site disenabling style sheets.
  • Visual inspection of the site contents using different font size.

Visual Design

  • The visual layout of the site is based exclusively on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • The colours used are clearly contrasted and do not represent any kind of obstacle for people with visual disabilities.
  • The pages use relative font sizes to respect the text size specified by each user on their navigator.
  • The pages have been designed in such a way that, should the user’s navigator not support style sheets, these will still be completely legible.
